When reviewing the theme of growing up and the struggles of being a teenager, I thought back to being raised surrounded by new and exciting technology. So my main idea was heavily inspired by old digital photos with flash and a very vintage and welcoming essence to them It’s a very nostalgic feeling and has a special place in my heart. As you can probably tell each of my images has a laptop in them, this is to signify that we are constantly being followed by technology. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and school moving online, our classrooms have become our bedrooms and our work load seems to haunt us around our homes. I wanted to show this by having a laptop in every image, either as the focal point - for when we are focused on said schoolwork, and then some images where it is in the background, to show how though we may not be focused on it, it still follows us around.
